I hope she finds a nice new home because I really love this little girl....I will miss her when she goes!
Watch this space for more available bears....I have been making bears incase I was given a cancellation place at Hugglets on Sunday but that now seems unlikely, so if I don't get a place the bears will be available here on my website.
Beary Hugs,
Gemma X
Wow, it's been a long time again! *rolls eyes and looks sheepish*
We are just aout settled into the new house.....I absolutely love it! I still can't quite believe we now have a dining area - it's my most favourite part! the bear making room is NEARLY finished - just need some shelving put up and i can finish unpacking the rest of my equipment.....can't wait!
I'm making bears at the moment 'just incase' i get offered a last minute cancellation place at Hugglets!! I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed!
Anyway, this post was to let you know that Bracken (my 1st place Award Winning bear) is now available on ebay.com. You can visit his auction here:

I must get ready now to take my son to Beaver Scouts!
Well, I'm so sorry I haven't posted here agian in so long! I've been very busy though! I'm stitching away like mad trying to get bears ready for Hove. I have 4 bears completed; a 17" one (which I'm in love with - he's also taken me the longest to make than any other bear ever! He does have BIG trapunto paws though which are VERY time consuming), I have 2 X 10" bears from a completely new pattern which have slightly longer muzzles, smaller feet and smaller eyes (it's my take on a more traditional bear!), and I have another 10" fluffy bear that had scissor sculpted 'puffy' cheeks and needlefelted paws....she's a lovely light pink colour and very soft! I'm now working on an 8" commission that will be collected at the show, and also on a 6" one for my table at Hove. Once these are finished, I hope to make a 5" bear plus a few 'box frame bears'. Sooo, I won't have a table absolutely heaving with bears but I personally think it's better not to have too many as you can't appreciate each bear individually when there are lots of faces staring at you!
I will be adding a show preview page to my website nearer the time of the show (probably a week or so before it). My mailing list customers will be notified via email when it's on there.
Now, some news about the house......it's driving me mad!!!!! They are now running 2 months behind, but I THINK it may now be finished and hopefully we will get the keys w/c 26th. I just want to be in and settled for Christmas. My parents are coming for Christmas dinner at our house this year which will be strange - for the past 25 years (all of my life!) I've been at my parents house for Christmas dinner - it's sort of tradition! But, my mum is a nurse and has to work a night shift on Christmas Eve (won't get home till 7am Christmas morning) so she won't want to cook a big dinner! It'll be lovely to have Christmas in our home this this year, and it's the first opportunity we've had to do so. In the flat (where we currently are) we have absolutely no room for a table and chairs (other than a childs 2 seater one that my sons eat at) but in the house we have a kitchen/dining room so we'll be able to all sit around and enjoy our feast! I can't wait!!!
That's all for now folks!
